WALL’UP was born out of the synergies of the wood/hemp industry groups in the Ile-de-France region, aware that a joint response to the challenges of biosourced prefabrication would not only meet the needs of the current and future construction market, but would also consolidate outlets for the resources extracted in the region. To emerge, the company drew on the knowledge of its founders, combining expertise in wood construction with experience in growing and processing hemp.
Officially registered in 2019, the associates will need a year to imagine/calculate/optimize the manufacturing process and the various tools needed to assemble the different know-how. The year 2020 will be marked by the launch of construction of a 2,500 m² plant next to the Planète Chanvre defibration site (Aulnoy 77120). Inaugurated in May 2021 in the presence of numerous elected officials, it is the first industrial unit for the secondary processing of hemp, producing and marketing hemp concrete walls on wood frames in France.
